About Michel

I’m Michel Ferreira, an Art Director/Multimedia Designer, born in Rio de Janeiro in 1980. I’ve been working with internet and advertising since 1997 and have had the chance of working with a variety of clients, from ground-floor start-ups to multi-national corporations all over the globe – such as Coca-Cola, MTV, Terra Networks, NBA, amongst many, many others. I have a Degree in Marketing & Advertising and also have experience as a Design Teacher in Brazil.

I am an advocate of web standards and I hand-code most of my designs. In the past couple of years I have received two American Design Awards, one for Binnquist Development (BDI) a website built entirely in flash to showcase the wonderful portfolio of this, Newport Beach based, Construction and Interior Design Company, and one for the redesign of, San Clemente Based, Marketing Agency Album Creative’s website. I’ve had my work showcased in several css and design galleries, and even on smashing magazine and its book.
